Oh My Gosh. One of the easiest yet best tasting things I've ever made. It's a recipe from Food Network. Here's a link to the recipe if you want to try it out!
Yep... that's my car. "Why?" you ask am I putting a picture of my car on my blog? Because the hubby just washed it, detailed it, and armoralled (is that a word?) it. He says he enjoys doing it, and I am glad because it is so nice to have a clean car. I swear the car drives better when it is so clean! haha
Oh, what a day. It started out with my making coffee and forgetting to put the pot on.... needless to say there was a HUGE mess all over the counter, floor and even inside the cabinets. I got it all cleaned up and then about 20 minutes later, I broke a vase! I thought.... "What's next?". But, luckily, the rest of the day was uneventful. Thank goodness!
Here's another one for ya..... editing in Picasa. I know I'm totally cheating by posting virtually the same pic twice, but hey.... picture taking has been slow the past couple of days! :)
I'm in the mood for Fall. I am trying my hand at roasting a butternut squash. I've never done one before. Here it is, before and after- it smells yummy- can't wait to dig in! Before roasting, I put butter, brown sugar and maple syrup on it - nothing like making a vegetable "unhealthy"! haha
This little flower bud fell off a bunch of fresh flowers we had, so I would've thrown it away. Daniel put it in this candle holder with some water and it bloomed! And it has lasted about 2 weeks.... crazy!
Well, I was sick all weekend, so I didn't take many pictures. Here's one of the lazy dogs. Poor things didn't even get to go on a walk for 3 days! I have no idea why they're so tired! haha
And one of him coming in from taking those pictures. I would love to live somewhere someday that had a dock or kayak access. It was so great just being able to take the kayak off the dock and hop in anytime we wanted to. Maybe someday...... :)
Just sharing some of the hubby's pics he took while in California. He really has a talent for photography. It seems to come naturally to him, unlike me! He took these pics while out on a kayak.
These pics were by Daniel. I just loved these 2- the first one focuses on the flower, the second, the houses in the background. Loved the reflection in the water....
Daniel bringing in the kayak.
This is our friend's dog. He LOVED to go swimming off the dock. Our lab, Luke, wouldn't dare jump in. He was too scared! haha
Just for my sister.... Matt's hand prints and foot prints! haha Yes, those are spiderman's legs you see in the background! They had all kinds of people dressed up as characters.
Mann's Chinese Theater Pics from Los Angeles. I finally got to see the famous Hollywood sign in person! :)
Luke enjoying a Duffy ride. A Duffy is an electric boat. :) Thought this sign was funny. Huntington beach is a very laid-back kind of town. We loved it there!
