Our dog is camera shy. Running from the camera, hiding from the camera, and finally sitting still.... just because we were taunting him with a treat! Oh and the reddish dog isn't ours- just a friend's dog!

Well, small town living must be seeping into our blood. We actually went to a Gun Show today!!

Well, I feel like I post a lot of what I eat & drink, but I am completely addicted to homemade guacamole and eat it 3 times a week sometimes! And I left the avocado pitt in because I heard it helps keep the avocado from browning. I think it works!

I am trying to remember to take my camera with me when I take the dog for a walk. I got this picture on our walk today.

Just thought this pic represented New Mexico. Chili Peppers are everywhere here and they use them for decoration- like this wreath or just strings of them to hang in your home.

View from our driveway- I love the mountains and will miss that about this place. I hope our home in Vegas has a view of the mountains!

Gotta love Winter-time and dead grass. And a dog that LOVES to roll in it. This happens at least twice a day, and the dead grass sticks to him like glue!

We went to Carlsbad Caverns today. Took a lot of great pictures, but am trying to post only 1 or 2 a day..... Oh, and on the drive home, the husband had to drive through the salt flats (and take a picture of his truck).

I had to go to Cloudcroft for work. It is a small mountain town in NM. The views on the drive back down the mountain were beautiful!

So, my husband and I are both awful when it comes to taking pictures or even remembering to bring our camera along to special events. So I decided to make my New Year's Resolution to take more pictures and become comfortable with all the settings on a camera and then buy ourselves a new, "nice" camera (the one I have now is on my hate list).
