We went to Aggie Muster last night at this place. I tried to snap a photo of the table with the remembrance candles on it, but missed my opportunity. So, I had to settle for a picture of the sign of he restaurant we had it at! :)

I was taking Luke for a walk today and was just disgusted at all the trash strewn around our area park. It is a really nice area and I hate that people think they can just throw their trash on the ground instead of in the trash can 20 feet away. (Unless, by chance, the wind blew all this out of the trash can- it was really windy one day last week). But, I doubt that. Anyway, I'm thinking of getting up early one morning, donning some gloves, and picking it up.

We went to Hash House - an amazingly good restaurant here in Vegas. The portions were a little out of control though!

I've really got to stop taking pictures with my camera phone - especially when our "good camera" is 20 feet away in the bedroom. Oh well. Beautiful sunset picture from our back patio.

It was sooooo windy here today. It broke our trellis and plant right off the metal supports! :( I'm hoping we can get it fixed before it affects our plant......

I don't personally eat at McDonald's, but I thought this was picture-worthy. Definitely the neatest looking McDonald's I've ever seen! (Excuse the light pole in the way), I had to snap this one from the car.

Daniel went to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway today to try his hand at racing around the speedway at very high speeds...... I think he said he topped off at 147 miles an hour. He loved it....

Ahhh, good memories. These were taken by my good friend, Shelley. We were in Thailand and decided it would be fun to swim with seal lions. And it was pretty fun! This was back in 2006 I think.

Ok, so..... the reason for this blog is due to the fact that the hubby and I are typically those people who never have their camera, never take any pictures, and rely on good friends & family to send us their pictures. I am trying to get better (and this blog helps tremendously). Today while unpacking box #823, we found a bunch of mostly unlabeled CD's. And guess what- they have tons of good pictures and memories on them. If only we had been better about keeping things like this organized. I'm sad to say we even found a random, unlabeled CD at the bottom of the box, that was....... our wedding photos! Terrible, I know. (I promise we're getting better!!). So, in keeping with some good memories, the next few pics are old, but good ones.....

We went to a Japanese/Brazilian/Peruvian fusion restaurant tonight. This was our dessert. It was "Japanese Ice Cream". Although, the whole 2 years we lived in Japan, I never saw this at any ice cream shops! It was good, but weird. The ice cream was in the center of this chewy, gummy outer layer.

March 31st

Las Vegas has some really funny/interesting street names. Some I like are "Red Glitter", Redhead Drive", etc. These 2 signs I thought were funny. Can you imagine saying "I live at the corner of Hot Cider and Chilly Nights". Just sounds funny to me! haha
