We had some friends over for dinner and we tried out a new appetizer. I got the idea from someone at another party. It is definitely one of our new favorites! :)
Just shrimp, a raw jalapeno slice, and fresh avocado. Sprinkled with some pepper. Yum!

Is this crazy or what? So many homes in Vegas are in foreclosure. They're actually marketing for "foreclosure landscaping"!

Luke enjoying real grass. All we have in our yard is Astroturf (which we love). Luke loves to roll around in the real grass when we go for walks. I don't know how they keep it so green here!

Ok, I know the next couple of pics aren't really that interesting, and I took them with my phone while out walking Luke, so they're not particularly special, but..... when all you do in unpack, clean, and organize all day, that's as good as it gets! haha I liked this plant (it's unique) and liked the shadow it made on the wall.....

Today my mom & I went to Old Mesilla (a historical part of Las Cruces, NM). I've wanted to go there for a while and we finally made the little over an hour trip. We had lunch in this building- La Posta, which housed Billy the Kid back in the day. Pretty neat!
